The LDS church is two blocks away  (15 Chapel Hill Drive)

Napa, CA 94558

Just to mention the name
Of Governor Boggs today
Stirs the mind, him, to blame
For that extermination day

But, in a grander design
This Governor’s grave is close
To a church in our time
In its shadows, I suppose

His past home and his grave, both
Lie in the shadows of the church
As though by an unknown oath
With a meaning that’s ours to search
