The dark night of the mind in stress
Collided with staggering fatigue
Emotions collapsed, I was depressed
Unable to function, I was in need

Debilitating and so real
I was deeply afflicted with gloom
There was no hope within to feel
Then, God’s mercy and love showed to bloom!

Found in the divine potter’s hands
I felt wrapped in His love all at once
And witness that He understands
He has felt what a dark soul confronts

My suffering became bearable
Through this trial, I know how I am weak
As clay in His hands, I’m more able
To be compassionate, humble, and meek

Now, as the Lord holds me together
I rest from stress on His Sabbath day
As His vessel, His love, I gather
And partake of Him, study, and  pray

As His vessel, His hope, I gather
To help others along the way

Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this apotter? saith theLord. Behold, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.
